At the heart of the Landestini Beaumont Urban Farm orchard, participants will learn how to plant fruit trees, with the crucial question at the heart of the workshop: which fruit tree for which type of soil? The importance of varietal selection, grafting and more will be discussed. Then it's off to the planting: each stage in the planting of a fruit tree will be explained, with an exchange of best practices and pitfalls to avoid, from the choice of variety to staking.
